ABOUT THE TEACHER
Hi my name is Mary Ellen and I am a 3rd grade teacher
in Cheshire. I graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2002 and have been teaching for 5 years now. Currently
I am working on my masters degree through Walden University. I will be studying how to effectively use technology in
the classroom. At Norton school I am chairperson of the Student and Community committee. I am also apart of
the K-6 curriculum committee in which I meet with teachers from all of the schools in Cheshire to improve curriculum.
For the students of Norton School I coordinate the Recycling club for grades 4-6 and the Super Athletes program for grades
1-5. I really enjoy working in the Norton School community.
